David brings 25+ years of corporate and fractional finance experience in a wide variety of industries including media, retail, manufacturing, construction, auto body repair and agricultural operations.  Since joining the firm in 2019, David’s primary focus has been mid-market firms with a specialization in interim finance executive solutions, financial advisory services, sell-side support and project management.

David’s recent engagements have included:

• Interim CFO for a private equity backed dental device manufacturer with more than $25M in annualized revenues and over $2.5M in adjusted TTM EBITDA.  David was engaged as part of the full transition of the entire C-Suite team including both the CFO & CEO / President.

• Interim CFO / Controller for a private equity backed work zone safety company that specializes in comprehensive traffic control, road safety and signage solutions. David was engaged during an executive search for permanent CFO solution for a company that generated over $25M in annual revenues and over $3.5M in adjusted TTM EBITDA.

• Financial sell-side resource for mid-western private equity backed auto body / collision repair company that included 81 individual locations and generated over $300M in annualized revenues and approximately $40M in adjusted TTM EBITDA. His responsibilities included (but were not limited to) the build-out of a forecast model for the upcoming sale, management of the data warehouse, collection & tracking of materials for all due diligence and prospective buyer follow-up requests, cost structure evaluation & improvement plans and month-end close process evaluations.

• Financial sell-side resource for private equity backed waste-water treatment facility with over $125M in annualized revenues and over $40M in adjusted TTM EBITDA. David’s responsibilities included the build-out of a 5-year plan model for the upcoming sale transaction.

Before joining the firm, David held the position of Finance Director / Controller at both iHeartMedia and National Geographic Channel-US for a combined 16 years within the media industry.  David specialized in corporate financial management, assessing financial performance and implementing course correction (when needed), cash flow management, GL controllership, identifying financial risks and opportunities, providing insight on projected benefit / exposure and implementing company-wide process improvements.
